State Senator Ron Calderon Endorses Laurette HealeyMajor Endorsement Infuses Healey’s Campaign With Big Boost of MomentumCalifornia State Senator Ron Calderon endorsed San Fernando Valley businesswoman and green jobs development professional Laurette Healey today in her bid for California State Assembly District 46. “Laurette Healey has proven herself as a leader who has the skills and know-how to create jobs and rebuild our local economies,” said Senator Calderon. “She understands that Californians are hurting, and that the way to get our State back on track is to reinvest in our schools, and help small businesses thrive, so they can once again hire more workers. Senator Calderon added, “And, Laurette recognizes the needs for regulatory streamlining to create business incentives and ease the cost of projects that create jobs. She also understands that businesses need to feel a sense of constancy and predictability for the future. That’s why I’m pleased to endorse her for the State Assembly.” “This is a huge endorsement in my campaign for Assembly, and I’m thrilled to count Senator Calderon as one of my top supporters,” said Healey. “I plan to work hard to win this race so that when I go to the legislature, I can work on my #1 priority, which is creating more good jobs and rebuilding California’s economy.” Since first announcing her candidacy just two weeks ago, Healey has hit the ground running and has scored major endorsements, in addition to today’s, including, California State Assemblyman Gil Cedillo and Los Angeles City Councilman Paul Koretz.
