I think Laurette is someone who possesses all those qualities and I look forward to working with her in the future.” “It is essential that we elect an Assemblymember who has a background of working on economic policy and has a fundamental understanding of the business climate in California,” said Harvey Berg, a Vice Chairman of the Valley Economic Alliance. “Sacramento needs legislators who understand how small businesses function. I’m supporting Laurette Healey for Assembly because she’ll put forward innovative ideas on how to help small businesses grow, stimulate and rebuild our economy, and as a result, will help to create more jobs.” “Sherman Oaks deserves an Assemblymember who’s already proven year after year that she will fight for our community,” said Matt Epstein, Vice President, Sherman Oaks Home Owners Association. “We need her in Sacramento because she possess the intelligence and toughness to help turn this economy around, and I have absolutely no doubt that she will be our advocate and a well qualified leader when she goes to Sacramento.” “I am proud to endorse Laurette Healey for Assembly,” said Krisna Crawford-Velasco, Treasurer, Latino Democrats, San Fernando Valley. “It’s about time we elect someone to the Assembly who has deep ties to the local Valley grassroots communities.” “I am deeply gratified to have the support of committed citizen leaders this early on in my campaign for Assembly,” said Healey. “The diversity and range of these endorsements speak to my ability to work well with the complex priorities of my District and cultivate the thread that ties all our communities together – the need for jobs, housing stabilization, a healthy quality of life, and the opportunity for achievement through education.
